Before we can dive into emotional wounds, healing, and the challenges that we face as women, it is important to lay a foundation.

In today’s episode, 002, we talk about some of the foundations that I believe are necessary in the journey toward emotional healing and deliverance. Had I had this foundation, a solid understanding of it, I may have not went on living under so much pain and weight for so many years. The list of these foundations is not all inclusive, but it does consist of some of the foundations that have played a crucial role in my own personal journey of deliverance:

1) Understanding God’s Nature

2) Understanding who We are

3) Understanding who Satan is

4) Understanding our fight and who it is against

Scripture References:

Ephesians 6:11-12 (Modern English Version) – “Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.  12 For  our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,  against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and  against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

Job 13:15 (MEV) – “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him….”

I Peter 4:12-13 (MEV) – “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery  ordeal that is taking place among you to test you, as though some  strange thing happened to you.  13 But  rejoice insofar as you share in Christ’s sufferings, so that you may  rejoice and be glad also in the revelation of His glory.”

Acts 14:22 (New International Version) – “strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the  faith. “We must go through many hardships (trials) to enter the kingdom of God,”  they said.”

John 8:32 (MEV) – “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”

II Corinthians 4:16 (MEV) – “For this reason we do not lose heart: Even though our outward man is perishing, yet our inward man (spirit) is being renewed day by day.”

II Corinthians 10:4 (MEV) – “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.”
